We are an Auckland-based plumbing company and now need to recruit 3 carpentors for relevant work for the project across the Auckland region.

Days Required: Need to be available from Monday to Saturday, between 7:30am - 6:30pm

Need to be available for callout on Sunday and public holiday

Hours per Week: Hours of work per week: Minimum 30 hours. Up to 50 hours.

Key Responsibilities:

• Cut openings in floors, walls, and ceilings to allow for the installation of plumbing and gas systems.
• Install access panels to facilitate future maintenance and inspections of pipes and gas lines.
• Construct and install wooden or metal supports to securely hold pipes in place.
  Build enclosures for water heaters, boilers, and other plumbing or gas equipment to protect them and enhance their appearance.
• Frame walls, floors, and ceilings in new builds to accommodate plumbing and gas infrastructure.
• Modify existing framing to support new or rerouted pipe installations.
• Design and install cabinetry and countertops that incorporate sinks and plumbing fixtures.
• Build shelves and storage units around plumbing appliances for both function and form.
• Repair or replace subflooring damaged during plumbing work.
  Reinforce flooring to support heavy fixtures such as bathtubs and water heaters.
  Install trim, baseboards, and mouldings around newly completed plumbing work for a polished look.
• Patch and repair walls, floors, and ceilings post-installation.

What We’re Looking For:

• A minimum of 2 years of carpentry work experience
• Basic plastering and polishing skills are a bonus.
• Willingness to learn – on-the-job training provided where needed
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
• A positive team player who contributes to a smooth and respectful work environment
  Able to follow all company policies, including those around hygiene, time management, and flexibility
• Preference will be given to NZ citizens or residents
