About the role
Bluecurrent is a leading provider of innovative smart metering services and solutions in New Zealand and Australia. As a B2B company, we partner with leading energy retailers and distributors in New Zealand and Australia.
As a Data Services Administrator, you will provide proactive customer service and accurate data in line with agreed service levels, to customers by effectively managing the Data Services operations.
Key responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with the Australian Electricity Market.
- Ensure metering data accurately represents electricity used by a consumer and that it is delivered to the market within required timeframes.
- Respond to customer requests regarding data and market deliveries.
- Work as part of a team, collaborating and assisting others to achieve overall team goals.
- Support BAU processes with an eye for detail and completion of work to a high quality.
- Raise any issues identified and liaise with providers, and internal teams where needed.

To be successful in this role, you will have strong organisational, analytical and problem-solving skills. You will be a strong communicator with exceptional interpersonal skills that will be demonstrated through your ability to achieve outcomes.
In addition, you will have:
- computer skills in standard applications
- planning ability, particularly with regards time management and completing tasks on time
- the ability to take challenges head-on and come through successfully
- adaptability to evolving processes and systems
- experience in customer services provision
- a passion for learning, and drive to understand regulatory requirements
