Responsibilities

• Produce accurate, timely monthly financial reporting for the KPMG Executive & Board.
• Deliver monthly and annual financial reporting, monthly management reporting, including undertaking ad‑hoc analysis and corrective action for variances where required.
• Lead the annual budget planning, forecasting and reporting processes.
• Strengthen the effectiveness of internal processes and controls by identifying improvement opportunities and implementing solutions that enhance efficiency and financial integrity across the finance function.
• Ensure the completeness and accuracy of financial records through oversight of key activities, including KPMG entity reporting, standing journals and allocations, and balance sheet reconciliations.

Requirements

• B.Com in Accounting or equivalent tertiary qualification and/or relevant professional qualification.
• Accounting experience, minimum 5 years.
• Advanced knowledge of Excel.
• Working knowledge of MS Office, Word.
• IBS – KPMG’s SAP ERP.
• Experience in a professional services organisation.
• Good interpersonal skills with the ability to relate well to staff with differing levels of expertise and skills.
• The ability to work well under pressure and to perform to deadlines.
• Strong organisational skills; a self‑starter with initiative and a common‑sense approach to problem solving.
• Focus on continuous improvement within the finance function.
• High level of attention to detail.
