We are known for top-quality beef, lamb, pork, chicken, and specialty cuts, as well as friendly customer service and traditional butchery skills. Were now seeking a skilled Butcher to join our team and help us continue delivering the best in fresh meat to our loyal customers.

What Youll Do

• Prepare and cut meats (beef, lamb, pork, poultry) to order and for display

• Create value-added products such as sausages, kebabs, marinated meats

• Operate butchery equipment safely (mincer, band saw, knives, hand truck)

• Maintain well-stocked and appealing meat displays

• Receive, check, and store deliveries, including temperature checks

• Provide exceptional customer service and advice

• Ensure all food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness standards are met

What Were Looking For

• NZ Certificate in Meat Processing (required)

• Previous experience in a retail butchery environment

• Excellent knife skills and ability to maximise yield with minimal wastage

• Strong attention to detail and time management

• Professional appearance and customer-focused attitude

• Ability to work efficiently in a busy team environment
