RESTATE Property Restoration is a 100% New Zealand-owned property restoration company helping people recover after water damage, fire, mould, contamination, and other property damage events.
We are growing and looking for practical, reliable people who want to learn a specialist trade, work hard, and build a long-term career.
You do not need restoration experience. Full training is provided.
This role is ideal for someone who has worked in trades, labouring, cleaning, carpet cleaning, pest control, removals, delivery, warehousing, maintenance, construction, or other hands-on service roles.
About the RoleThis is not a desk job. Every day is different.
As a Restoration Technician, you’ll be out on site helping restore homes and businesses after property damage events. You’ll learn how to use specialist drying, cleaning, air filtration, moisture detection, and restoration equipment.
Some days are physical. Some days are technical. Some days require calm communication with customers who are under pressure. If you enjoy practical work, solving problems, and learning useful skills, this could be a great fit.
What You’ll Be DoingThis role can be physical. Some jobs are messy. Some are urgent. You may be working in damaged properties, carrying equipment, dealing with wet materials, setting up machines, and helping customers during stressful situations.
We’ll train you properly, but we need people who are reliable, practical, and willing to get stuck in.

You’ll start by learning the basics on site, supporting senior technicians, and understanding the RESTATE way of working. From there, there are opportunities to grow into senior technician, team leader, operations, management, or future franchise pathways as our network expands.
