Advertiser name: Kumars property management Occupation: Landscape Gardener (362711) Location: Redbank plains 4301 QLD Salary Range: $75,000 to $85,000 plus superannuation Our client, Kumars property management is looking for a skilled Landscape Gardener to join their team. Tasks Include: •Preparing and maintaining garden beds, soil areas and landscape sites for planting and construction activities •Propagating, planting and maintaining trees, shrubs, hedges, flowers, turf and decorative plants •Preparing lawn and outdoor areas by spreading soil, levelling surfaces and laying natural and instant turf •Maintaining landscaped areas through mowing, trimming, edging, watering, fertilising and weed control •Pruning trees, hedges and shrubs, and installing plant support, mulch and irrigation materials where required •Assisting with landscape layout works, measuring outdoor areas and selecting suitable plants and landscaping materials •Installing softscape and hardscape landscaping features including turf, garden edging, retaining walls and paving •Constructing and maintaining gravel paths, paved areas, fencing, garden structures and outdoor landscape features •Inspecting plants and trees to identify damage, disease, pest issues and maintenance requirements •Operating landscaping tools and equipment including whipper snippers, hedge trimmers, chainsaws and lawn machinery safely •Applying fertilisers, herbicides and pest control treatments in accordance with landscaping and safety requirements •Removing damaged plants, overgrown vegetation and unwanted trees as part of garden and landscape maintenance works Requirements: •Certificate III in Landscape Construction, Horticulture or relevant industry experience. •Minimum 1 year of relevant landscaping or garden maintenance experience. Strong knowledge of planting, turf preparation, pruning and general landscape maintenance. •Ability to safely operate landscaping tools and equipment and perform physical outdoor duties. •Good communication, teamwork and time management skills with commitment to workplace safety.
