Location: Auckland, New Zealand
Hours: Minimum 30 hours per week for full-time
Hourly Rate: NZD $30.00 – $40.00 per hour, depending on experience
About the Role
LIGHTSTEEL GROUP LIMITED, we are currently seeking three skilled and reliable Carpenters to join our growing team based in Auckland. This is a full-time opportunity for motivated individuals who take pride in their workmanship and enjoy working on a variety of residential and/or commercial projects.
Key Responsibilities
l Carry out general carpentry work including framing, formwork, finishing, and installations
l Interpret and work from plans and drawings
l Measure, cut, and assemble materials accurately
l Maintain a high standard of workmanship and attention to detail
l Ensure all work is completed in line with health and safety requirements
l Work collaboratively with team members and site supervisors
l Perform any other reasonable duties as directed by the site manager or supervisor
Skills and Experience Required
l At least two years relevant experience or
l A Level 4 or above qualification
l Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively
l Strong understanding of building methods and materials
l Reliable, punctual, and hardworking
l Ability to work independently and as part of a team
