About the Role
As an Associate Director within Aon’s Broker Regional Network, you will drive the development and growth of corporate business across the Auckland Corporate portfolio. You will oversee existing client relationships, identify and target new business opportunities, and provide technical broking and administrative support to ensure exceptional client outcomes. The role also includes supervisory responsibilities and opportunities to influence team performance and capability.
Some of your responsibilities will include:
Growing existing business in line with branch targets and delivering on new business objectives.
Providing professional, accurate, and timely broking services, premium calculations, and client documentation.
Coordinating renewals, managing client files, and ensuring strong credit control practices.
Maintaining strong relationships with clients, underwriters, and internal colleagues.
Supervising staff and contributing to a high‑performing and collaborative team culture.
Supporting Aon’s commitment to Health, Safety, and Wellbeing and promoting our organisational values.
Skills and experience that will lead to success:
You’ll be successful in this role if you are client‑focused, commercially minded, and skilled at managing multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and professionalism.
A few key skills we look for:
Experience within the insurance industry, ideally in broking or corporate account management.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to process accurate premiums, documentation, and claims information.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey information clearly to internal and external collaborators.
Calm and consistent performance under pressure, with strong problem‑solving and conflict resolution skills.
