Westlake Boys High School is looking to employ an English teacher who can also teach ESOL.

Start date: 28 January 2026.

Applicants must be NZ registered, fully conversant with the NZ Curriculum and have NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa. 

The terms and conditions, including base salary, for this position is set by the Secondary Teachers Collective Agreement (STCA) (2022-2025). The base salary for trained and registered teachers currently ranges from NZD $61,329 to NZD $103,086, depending on the applicants qualifications and experience.

Individuals actual base salary will be established by a salary assessment by Education Payroll once a role is confirmed.
