As an Excavator Operator at Remarkable People, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of excavation equipment on various construction sites in Hamilton. This is a casual position. What youll be doing

  • Operate excavation machinery, such as hydraulic excavators, to dig, move, and load materials at construction sites
  • Ensure the proper maintenance and care of the excavation equipment, performing routine checks and reporting any issues
  • Work collaboratively with the construction team to complete projects on time and within budget
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and environmental regulations at the job site
  • Participate in ongoing training to stay up-to-date with the latest operating techniques and industry best practices

What were looking for

  • WTR Endorsement
  • Full Class 1 Drivers Licence
  • Previous experience as an Excavator Operator, preferably in the construction industry
  • Proficient in the operation of various excavation equipment, including hydraulic excavators
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
