As our Finance Accountant, youll play a key role in supporting the CFO and ensuring the smooth running of our finance function. Your responsibilities will include:

• Preparing and delivering monthly management accounts and financial reports.
• Processing payroll, agent commission payments and bonus calculations
• Completing and filing GST, PAYE, FBT and other tax returns accurately and on time.
• Managing accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections.
• Reconciling bank transactions in Xero
• Reconciling balance sheet items monthly and producing prelim reports by 5th of each month
• Assisting with the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts.
• Supporting the CFO with financial analysis and special projects.
• Driving process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in reporting.
• Providing general accounting support across the business as needed.
• Trust account transactions, reconciliation of receipts and payments to solicitor trust accounts and prepare for audit
• Deal Management

• Youll bring strong accounting knowledge, with experience in management accounts and tax compliance.
• Youll be detail-oriented, proactive, and highly organised.
• Youll be a team player who thrives in a collaborative environment.
• Youll have experience in either a commercial or CA environment
• Real Estate Industry would be an advantage but not a necessity
• Proficiency with accounting software (Xero)
• Good working knowledge of Excel.
