Financial Reporting Accountant

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytically strong Financial Reporting and Tax Analyst to support the Financial Reporting Manager. Youll ensure the accurate and timely preparation of financial statements, while also contributing to tax compliance and broader finance initiatives.

Responsibilities:

• Develop policies to streamline reporting and enhance accuracy
• Respond to group-initiated financial data analysis 
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, OPEX, CAPEX, and project planning
• Support and review month-end close activities and group exhibit requirements
• Analyse and reconcile tax balances, including deferred tax
• Review GST, FBT, and income tax returns for compliance
• Present financial reports to senior leaders and key Group stakeholders
• Liaise with auditors, tax advisers, and regulatory bodies
• Lead and support continuous improvement initiatives across systems and processes
• Contribute to finance projects and cross-functional reporting activities

• CA qualified (or equivalent) with 3-5 years experience
• A strong knowledge of GAAP or IFRS, Tax knowledge a plus.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and written communication skills
• Advanced Excel capability and financial systems awareness
• A proactive problem-solver who thrives in complex environments
