Fitter

We are looking for a skilled and reliable Manufacturing Maintenance Fitter to join our team at The Barkery Limited in Huntly. In this role you will carry out a variety of fitting and general maintenance tasks, ensuring our plant and equipment remain in top working order. Your work will be essential in keeping production on track and meeting safety, quality, and maintenance standards.

·        Full time - Permanent role 30 hours per week

·        Competitive market hourly rate

You will need to have:

·        Undertake fitting tasks as directed by the Factory Manager

·        Complete preventative and planned maintenance on time and within budget

·        Identify and report hazards, incidents, and equipment faults

·        Maintain tools, plant, and workshop area in a safe and tidy condition

·        Work collaboratively with the operations team to meet operational needs

·        Work collaboratively with external contractors as and when required

What we are looking for:

·        Qualified/experienced fitter with strong repair and maintenance skills

·        Be dedicated to safety in the workplace

·        Can do attitude with ability to work unsupervised.

·        Great communication skills and reliable

·        Right to work in New Zealand
