The Opportunity

Were on the lookout for a detail-oriented, people-focused People & Culture Advisor who thrives on solving problems, improving systems, and helping others have an amazing experience at work. If you bring solid Human Resource knowledge, a proactive mindset, and a genuine interest in people, this could be the perfect role for you!

About the Role

As our sole People & Culture go to, youll be backed by a supportive Manager and work closely with General Managers, Café Managers, and their teams across the West End Hospitality Group. Youll take ownership for all things HR, ensuring everything runs seamlessly.

What Youll Be Doing

• HR Systems & Process Improvement: Maintain our in-house designed HRIS, HART. Improve HR systems, guides, and processes to enhance clarity and efficiency within this system.

• Recruitment & Job Advertising: Write and post job ads, monitor their performance, and support recruitment decisions with insights and data.

• Employee Lifecycle: Help with employee correspondence, manage documentation, and keep HR records organised and up to date. Be proactive in areas such as performance management and policy and process updates.

• Immigration & Compliance: Assist with immigration processes and ensure compliance to support the businesses.

• Wellbeing Initiatives: Take the lead with wellbeing in the workplace by championing wellbeing initiatives and encouraging practices that help create an enjoyable environment.

Skills & Experience

Wed love to hear from you if you have experience in these areas:

• Working knowledge of Employment Relations legislation

• Experience in HR advisory.

• Strong communication and organisational skills.

• Confidence using HRIS platforms and Microsoft Office (tech savvy).

• A proactive mindset and love for improving processes.

• Knowledge of NZ immigration processes (bonus!).
