Podiatrist - Diabetes

  • This is a permanent role working 32 hours per week (0.8 FTE) opportunity

About the Role

This stimulating opportunity provides excellent scope for autonomy and the opportunity to further develop your skills in active and high-risk foot complications due to diabetes and other high risk foot pathologies, within our multidisciplinary team, allowing you to work closely with like-minded professionals across Te Toka Tumai Auckland District.

As a Podiatrist in the Diabetes Service, you will enjoy variety in your role with responsibility for providing high quality, evidence-based podiatric services and promoting foot health through patient education, assessment and management of patients with diabetes and foot complications.

The successful candidate(s) will join a highly skilled multi-disciplinary team based at the Greenlane Clinical Centre with work occurring in outpatient and community satellite clinics around Auckland Central.

About you

We are seeking a podiatrist with at least 2 years of clinical experience however we will consider a podiatrist with less experience who has interest in developing skills in this area. Experience in working within a multidisciplinary focus and with an equity approach will be highly regarded.

Our ideal candidate will have:

  • Recent clinical experience of 2+ years
  • Registration with NZ Podiatrists Board
  • A current Practising Certificate
  • Full Drivers License
  • Excellent communication skills
