Are you a strategic thinker with deep expertise in regulatory compliance? Join our team as a Senior Regulatory Compliance Advisor, where youll lead the delivery of specialist advice on outsourcing regulations, with a focus on the Reserve Bank of New Zealands BS11 Outsourcing Policy.
In this high-impact role, you will:

Provide expert guidance on BS11 interpretation and application across the business

Influence senior leaders and support RBNZ engagement to maintain and shape outsourcing compliance strategy

Lead cross-functional collaboration on BS11 components including contractual terms, business continuity, critical supplier assessments, and procurement processes

Embed BS11 compliance into change initiatives

Provide advisory support across wider third party outsourcing regulations and other key regulatory areas impacting outsourcing at New Zealands banks

Operate with autonomy and influence at the intersection of regulatory policy, operational risk, and strategic business management
Nā tāu rourou | What will you bring?
To be successful in this, we are looking for someone who has the following skillset:

Extensive experience in regulatory compliance and risk management within the financial services industry, with proven ability to interpret and apply complex regulatory frameworks in a banking context

Proven track record as a senior adviser on regulatory compliance and policy matters
-
Demonstrated expertise in BS11 outsourcing compliance or third party and supplier governance and risk management highly desirable

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex regulatory concepts clearly and persuasively to diverse audiences, including executives and regulators

Prior experience engaging with the RBNZ or similar regulatory bodies is highly desirable
