There is an excellent opportunity to join a successful and well-established Auckland-based vegetable factory and become a part of a great team. We are looking to recruit a Vegetable Bag-Line Inspector to join our team. This position will report directly to the Quality Assurance Manager or Production Manager, assisting in the upheld and sustaining quality standards and operation of the production line, coordinating between various departments and to ensure product quality is within spec.
Successful Candidate will hopefully possess the following attribute:
- Relevant qualification is preferred but not necessary
- 2 years of work experiences within the similar industry or within quality and compliance field is highly regarded
- Effective communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Team player
- Physically fit
- Ability to multitask
Duties and Responsibilities
- Inspecting bag-line product to identify product quality issues, and providing advice to producers
- Examining imported products, such as vegetables and seeds , and making quarantine arrangements
- Ensure all inventory is assessed and is categorized according to its quality and condition
- Report non-standard conditions to the Quality Assurance Manager / Production Manager
- Follow all safety rules and practices to include the wearing of all essential personal protective equipment
- Assist and performer form internal/external audit to ensure compliance with regulation
- Perform other duties as assigned and required
