Āu Mahi | What You Will Do Provide specialist technical support to staff and students in the School of Health Sciences in Te Kaupeka Oranga | Faculty of Health. Your role will involve managing and maintaining equipment, offering IT and administrative support, and ensuring the delivery of academic courses. Youll also play a key role in upholding health and safety standards while contributing to the overall learning experience.
Mōu | Who You Are To be successful in this role, you will bring:
- Technical experience in maintaining and operating specialist equipment, such as laboratory and sports science tools.
- A valid New Zealand full drivers licence, with the ability to drive a manual vehicle.
- Research skills to access academic and professional literature and information.
- Experience in equipment management, including procurement, maintenance and stock control.
- Knowledge of health and safety protocols, ensuring compliance within a teaching and research environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve problems technical issues promptly.
- An alignment with our organisations values and culture, promoting a positive and inclusive work environment.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to support and train staff and students.
- A proactive and organised approach, with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
