Te Whiwhinga mahi | The opportunity

As the Data Centre Project Manager, you will be responsible for:

• Migration of existing AT data centres to new established data centres including all applications, processes and networks
• Decommission old data centres
• Ensuring data centres are fit for purpose, fully documented with best practice management processes in place
• Responsible for forecasting ongoing costs in terms of equipment and growth

Depending on nature of the Solution, delivery approach might be agile, traditional waterfall or hybrid / blended project delivery approaches to ensure that agreed capabilities, timelines and budgets are respected.

Nā tāu rourou | What will you bring?

• At least 10 years direct project work experience;
• 5+ years project management
• Experience managing medium-large teams delivering agile & traditional projects for complex organisations
• Experience in data centre migration or infrastructure implementations
• Proven track record of effective judgement and decision making
• In depth industry and or solutions experience at operational/technical level
• Strong analytical and delivery skills combined with business acumen and pragmatism
• Excellent interpersonal and relationship skills; employs a range of persuading and influencing skills to engage, motivate and convince others
• Effective communication skills, both oral and written
