Looking for an emerging hospitality star to fully manage The Krab in Rotorua. This is not just a seasonal job - we are looking for a Manager who wants a long-term career with us.
The Restaurant Manager is responsible for all parts of the restaurant operation: both front-of-house and kitchen. They are directly responsible for all operating KPIs and financial performance compared to budget.
● Achieve KPIs for labour cost, COGS, Reviews, Cash Variance, SafeFoodPro food plan compliance.
● Be responsible for staff recruitment and training.
● Ensure food standards are maintained to uphold the exceptional standards of The Krab brand.
● Ensure physical presentation and cleanliness of the restaurant are maintained to a high standard.
● Ensure plant and equipment are maintained to a good standard.
● Ensure H&S standards are maintained, and H&S system adhered to.
● Ensure Food Control Plan is followed, and standards met. ● Ensure Liquor License requirements are met (where applicable).
● Ensure compliance with The Krab House Rules, Policies and Procedures.
● Operate within The Krab's current operational standards. As systems develop, ensure emerging procedures are implemented and followed.
● Ensure the security and safety of equipment and staff on the premises.
● Be involved in the annual budget process.
● Any other reasonable duties as and when required by the employer.
