As an award-winning café with a strong reputation for outstanding food, coffee, and customer service, we are looking for a passionate, experienced, and highly skilled Café Manager to join our team.
To be successful for this role, you need:
- 2 years relevant experience or a level 4 or above relevant qualification.
- Must be available to work weekdays and weekend shifts.
- Adaptable to change and able to multitask.
- A strong understanding of food safety and hygiene.
- Reliable, organized, creative and cool under pressure
- Able to work efficiently in a team environment
Key tasks & Responsibilities:
1. Planning menus in consultation with Chefs.
2. Planning and organising special functions.
3. Arranging the purchasing and pricing of goods according to budget.
4. Maintaining records of stock levels and financial transactions.
5. Ensuring dining facilities comply with health regulations and are clean, functional
and of suitable appearance.
6. Conferring with customers to assess their satisfaction with meals and service.
7. Selecting, training and supervising waiting staff.
8. Take reservations, greet guests and assist in taking orders.
9. Analysing monthly cafe sales performance, and write monthly report to owner.
10. Marketing and management strategies for the betterment of the organisation.
