WELDER/STEEL FABRICATOR

The role

To take advantage of a growing and high quality customer order book for specialist

engineering solutions the time is right to hire you for this new position.

• Produce quality fabricated and structural steel componentry
• MIG and steel plate section welding
• Complete Quality Control documentation including job progress reports
• Full time and 40 hours/week with some occasional weekend work paid at time and a half

Skills and experience requirements

• At least three years’ previous experience in MIG light manufacturing fabrication welding is required.
• Must be able to read and follow drawing

Ideal candidates

Qualification in welding (certificate or diploma) is preferred, but not required if

sound work experience and evidence of on-the-job training provided. Five years

or more experience is preferred.

Experience in SMAW steel fabrication preferred.

Should have internationally accepted welding certifications.

Previous Site Safe training and Hot Work experience would be an advantageous.
