About the Role

Step into a senior clinical leadership position within our Allied Health team, balancing hands-on orthopaedic physiotherapy with broader service development responsibilities. The role includes holding a clinical caseload, providing professional and clinical supervision to physiotherapists and allied health assistants, and guiding quality improvement initiatives that enhance patient outcomes.

The Clinical Lead Physiotherapist plays an essential role in shaping orthopaedic care pathways, supporting staff development, and contributing service excellence. Collaboration is key, this role works closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure patient-centred, efficient care is consistently delivered across all touchpoints.

What you will bring:

  • A minimum of 4 years post-graduate physiotherapy experience
  • At least 2 years experience in orthopaedics and/or musculoskeletal settings (preferred)
  • Demonstrated ability to supervise and mentor staff or students
  • Proven success contributing to service development or quality improvement projects
  • Strong teamwork and collaboration skills within interdisciplinary environments
  • Current Annual Practicing Certificate and compliance with Physiotherapy Board of NZ standards
