Support the physiotherapy staff in carrying out daily treatments and assessments.
Assist with patient handling, administrative duties and communication with family and the multidisciplinary team.
Work primarily weekdays; the role may require 5/7 working days as part of 7‑day service changes.
Training will be given based on previous experience.
Qualifications
Experience of working in a therapy department or a rehab setting.
Experience working in a ward or other care setting.
SVQ or equivalent qualifications; some HCSWs have undertaken SVQs.
Motivation to develop new skills and willingness to take on new roles.
Additional Information
As from 1/4/26 the Agenda for Change full‑time working week will be reducing from 37 to 36 hours per week. Part‑time hours will be reduced pro‑rata but pay will not be affected. The post may close early if enough suitable applications.
