Divya’s Makeover is seeking an experienced and professional Beauty Therapist to join our
team. The successful candidate will provide a range of beauty treatments while delivering
excellent customer service and maintaining high standards of hygiene and professionalism.
Employment details:
Position: Beauty Therapist
Hours: Minimum 32 hours per week.
Pay rate: Starting from $35.00 per hour depending on skills and level of experience.
Location: Divya’s Makeover, New Plymouth, New Zealand.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide beauty treatments including, cosmetic and corrective makeup, hair removal
(waxing, threading etc), facials, massages, eyelash extensions, lash lifts, eyebrow
shaping, eyebrow tinting, eyebrow lamination, and nail services.
Consult with clients to understand their beauty needs and recommend suitable
treatments.
Perform treatments safely and professionally while following hygiene and infection
control standards.
Prepare and maintain treatment areas, tools, and equipment.
Maintain client records, including treatment details and product recommendations.
Provide advice on skincare, beauty maintenance, and aftercare.
Promote salon services and products to clients.
Manage client appointments, enquiries, and payments.
Maintain a clean, welcoming, and professional salon environment.
Follow workplace health and safety procedures.
Skills and Experience Required:
* At least 2 years of relevant experience
* Experience providing a range of beauty treatments.
* Strong communication and customer service skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Professional attitude, reliability, and attention to detail.
Relevant beauty therapy certificate (would be beneficial).
