We are seeking a professional and personable Part-Time Medical Receptionist to support a busy specialist clinic located in Remuera, conveniently close to the Newmarket Train Station. This is a longer-term assignment starting asap, offering part-time hours working 1-2 days a week.
About the Role:
You will be working 1-2 days per week, 8am–5pm, on days when clinics are scheduled. In addition, you will provide additional cover when they have extra clinics on. If you enjoy variety, value work–life balance, and are open to stepping in for additional hours when needed, this role is an excellent fit.
Key Responsibilities:
• Meet and greet patients attending clinic appointments• Handle incoming phone calls
• Manage follow-up appointment bookings
• Respond to email enquiries
• Provide general administrative support as required
To be successful, you will ideally have:
• Previous medical reception or medical administration experience (private practice an advantage)
• Strong MS Office skills and confidence learning new systems
• Flexibility with days and hours of work
• A professional, patient-focused approach
• Strong organisation skills and the ability to handle a variety of tasks
