Cleaner

Remarkable People is seeking a Cleaner to join our team. This role is based in Christchurch City and involves providing high-quality cleaning services to our valued clients. As a Cleaner, you will play a vital part in maintaining a clean, safe and pleasant environment for our customers and staff.

Position:5:00 PM - 1:30 AM - Various across all 7 days - From 15/09/25

Must be available to work weekends, and you must be able to commit to the job for a minimum of 3 months but up to 6 months.   What youll be doing

• Carrying out general cleaning duties such as vacuuming, mopping, dusting and sanitising across a variety of commercial premises.
• Ensuring all cleaning tasks are completed to a high standard and in a timely manner.
• Replenish consumable supplies as needed.
• Reporting any maintenance issues or concerns to the supervisory team.
• Adhering to all health and safety policies and procedures.

What were looking for

• Previous experience in a cleaning or housekeeping role, ideally within a commercial or corporate setting.
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently and independently.
• Strong time management skills and the capacity to prioritise tasks
• A proactive, reliable and conscientious approach to your work.
• Good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions.
• A positive attitude and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
• You must be able to pass the English test, both written and verbal, due to H&S.
• Must have your own car, drivers licence, clean criminal history check, and drug test.
