A highly regarded technology leader is seeking a Cloud Architect to drive a critical transformation initiative. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in all aspects of hybrid cloud and a demonstrated track record of defining the right strategy and building out a global operations platform (AWS/Azure/On-Prem) with production-ready implementations. The focus is on providing internal engineering teams with a rich toolbox and environment, containing all relevant data and tooling to make their work faster, better, more agile, and with more fun!
The Cloud Architect will work with global engineering teams to identify, architect, design, and implement optimal hybrid-cloud workflows. The role involves defining best practices for deployment, monitoring, automated testing, and providing guidance on how to build, test, and deploy components using a secure hybrid-cloud environment. Responsibilities include:
Designing and implementing hybrid cloud infrastructure using DevOps methodologies.
Building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and developing automation scripts.
Designing, building, and deploying applications and web-services on AWS/Azure.
Implementing and maintaining security measures and troubleshooting incidents.
The role requires extensive knowledge of CI/CD automation, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and containerisation.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
5+ years in architecting and implementing cloud solutions on AWS/Azure.
3+ years building a hybrid-cloud DevOps platform with CI/CD pipelines and Docker/Kubernetes.
Expertise with DevOps tools (Git, Jenkins, GitHub actions) and cloud tooling.
Fluency in bash, python, linux, PostgreSQL, and modern development languages.
AWS Certified DevOps Engineer or Azure DevOps Engineer certification.
Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field.
