Alpha Group of Companies Limited is looking for Cooks to join our growing team in Canterbury region. As a Chicking Cooks, you'll be preparing our chicken in the kitchen, breading and cooking our chicken to perfection.

 

This is a full-time, permanent role with a guaranteed minimum of 30 hours per week with remuneration between $25-$35 per hour for the right candidate

Cook

Job Responsibilities:

• Taking and serving food and beverage orders, and receiving payment from customers
• Preparing food such as hamburgers, pizzas, fish and chips
• Washing, cutting, measuring and mixing foods for cooking
• Operating cooking equipment such as grills, microwaves and deep-fat fryers
• Cleaning food preparation areas, cooking surfaces and utensils 
• Ordering and taking delivery of fast food ingredients
• May arrange delivery of prepared food and beverages

What we are looking for:

  Language Proficiency: Basic proficiency in English, as many customers prefer good standard of English language for communication.

  Product Knowledge: Familiarity with products from the menu, with a strong understanding of what the items are in the menu.

  Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for engaging with suppliers, staff, and customers.
