Cyclic Operator - Tauranga

Join our Tauranga team as a Cyclic Operator and become a valued part of the TCC Maintenance whānau. Youll complete daily network inspections and essential maintenance, making sure our roads are safe and well looked after. Your proactive approach and people-first attitude will help you build genuine relationships with colleagues, stakeholders, and the wider community.

What youll be doingNo two days are quite the same, your hands-on work will include:

• Responding to urgent health and safety issues - from accident debris clean-up to network hazards
• Pothole repairs, edge breaks, and replacing edge or culvert marker posts
• Quick-fix concrete repairs to keep things safe
• Installing and maintaining signage, cleaning signs, and removing graffiti
• Traffic management for designated roads
• Vegetation management around key areas
• Sight rail maintenance and repairs
• Using RAMM technology to log and complete jobs
• Emergency response and storm clean-up
• Finding and fixing the small (but important) things that keep our roads running smoothly
• Participating in our on-call roster (every 6 weeks)
