About the role | He Aha Te Tūranga

Join nib NZ in this newly created hands‑on role where you will drive meaningful change across operational teams. You will collaborate with nib NZ customer experience, learning and development, and communications specialists to deliver tailored training and communication strategies. This role supports service uplift through effective planning, stakeholder engagement and knowledge delivery.

  • Lead change planning, impact assessments and readiness strategies across NZ operations.
  • Collaborate with CX and L&D to develop training and communications that drive real behavioural change.
  • Create and execute communications plans, including video content, tailored to diverse audiences.
  • Ability to assess change impacts, measure adoption, and use data to inform decisions.
  • Support governance and embed best‑practice frameworks for knowledge delivery.
  • Build strong stakeholder relationships and represent change at business forums.
About you | Ko Wai Koe

To be successful in this position, you will have proven experience in change management, with experience in operations or leadership roles, and a strong grasp of change management principles like ADKAR.

You know how to assess readiness for change, influence outcomes, and deliver communications that resonate. Your resilience, relationship‑building skills, and business acumen help you drive meaningful change in complex environments.

You will also be:

  • Experienced in operations or leadership with a strong understanding of organisational dynamics.
  • Skilled in change methodology such as ADKAR and impact assessment tools to plan and deliver effective change.
  • Excellent communicator with proven ability to influence and build stakeholder relationships.
  • Resilient and adaptable; able to navigate resistance and advocate for change.
  • Desired: health insurance experience or knowledge and formal qualifications in change management or communications.
