Te Haeata/The Opportunity
We're looking for a proactive, collaborative and strategically minded Finance Business Partner to join our Wellington-based finance team. You will partner closely with a portfolio centred around our Policy Group. You will provide high‑quality financial advice that supports effective policy development and sound financial management of Group finances.
Ō Pūkenga/Skills And Experience
To be successful in this role, you will combine strong technical expertise with excellent communication skills to build trusted relationships with stakeholders and to ensure the credibility of financial information and advice is maintained.
You will have the following skills and experience to be successful in this role:
Strong analytical, strategic and planning capabilities with a commercially savvy mindset
Proven ability to build and maintain positive stakeholder relationships and effective networks across and within organisations
Demonstrated experience in analysing complex technical issues and making informed business decisions with financial impact
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Strong working knowledge of Government Financial Management legislation, policies, and practices
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
Full CA (or equivalent) preferred.

Utu ā-tau/Salary
The appointing salary for this role will be between $112,776 and $154,680 based on skills and experience.
