Morgan Home Repairs 2023 Limited – North Shore, North Island

Morgan Home Repairs is a growing Auckland-based company specialising in residential and commercial insurance reinstatement repairs, restoration work and renovation projects. We combine strong construction knowledge with modern systems to deliver well-managed projects, quality workmanship and excellent outcomes for our customers and insurance partners.

We’re looking for a capable, organised and practical Project Manager who understands construction, communicates confidently and enjoys coordinating people, managing projects and solving problems.

About the Role

This is a varied role managing a portfolio of residential and commercial repair, reinstatement and renovation projects across Auckland.

You’ll take responsibility for projects throughout the full lifecycle—from initial site assessment and quoting through to scheduling, construction monitoring, sub-trade management, completion and handover.

Key Responsibilities
  • Attend sites and assess required repair and building works
  • Prepare accurate quotes for work and repair methodologies
  • Coordinate clients, homeowners, insurers, assessors, subcontractors and suppliers
  • Programme and manage works from commencement through to completion
  • Monitor project costs, variations, quality and timelines
  • Ensure subcontractors understand and deliver the agreed scope of works
  • Complete regular site inspections and maintain accurate project records
  • Identify and resolve issues before they impact the client, project or programme
  • Ensure works meet relevant building, health and safety, and quality requirements
  • Provide clients and stakeholders with clear and regular updates
  • Complete final inspections and manage project handover
What We’re Looking For

To be considered for this role, you must be either:

  • A New Zealand Qualified Builder; or
  • A current Licensed Building Practitioner (LBP) in Carpentry
You’ll also bring
  • Strong practical knowledge of residential and commercial construction and repairs
  • Ability to assess damage and determine appropriate repair solutions
  • Good planning, organisational and time-management skills
  • Confidence managing subcontractors and multiple active projects
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • A professional and customer-focused approach
  • Good attention to detail and documentation
  • Confidence using digital systems and mobile technology
  • A full New Zealand driver licence
