About the Role
The ICT Project Manager will be responsible for leading the design, planning, development, implementation, and integration of new IT systems and app-based products that Orange PR intends to offer to its clients.
The role will involve managing projects that deliver client-facing and internal digital products, including CRM systems, mobile applications, analytics platforms, lead management tools, and online sales systems.
The ICT Project Manager will work closely with company directors, sales and marketing teams, software developers, external vendors, and selected clients to ensure that technology solutions are delivered successfully and align with business goals and client needs.
Key Responsibilities
· Lead ICT projects from concept to deployment for software and app-based products that Orange PR intends to commercialise and provide to its clients.
· Analyse business requirements from management, internal teams, and clients, and translate them into project scopes, technical specifications, implementation plans, and budgets.
· Coordinate the design and development of CRM systems, customer portals, mobile applications, e-commerce tools, loyalty platforms, and marketing automation solutions.
· Work directly with clients to understand their operational and marketing needs and identify opportunities to develop new digital products and technology services.
· Engage and manage software developers, UI/UX designers, system architects, and third-party technology vendors.
· Oversee all phases of product development, including planning, feature prioritisation, testing, deployment, and post-launch enhancement.
· Manage project governance activities, including scheduling, budgeting, risk management, issue resolution, change control, and stakeholder communication.
· Coordinate integration between websites, e-commerce platforms, CRM systems, payment gateways, analytics tools, and external applications.
· Ensure systems are designed and implemented with appropriate security, privacy, backup, and compliance controls in accordance with New Zealand legislation.
· Prepare and maintain project documentation, including business requirements, project plans, progress reports, risk registers, and post-implementation reviews.
· Facilitate user acceptance testing, staff training, and handover of completed systems into operational use.
· Monitor the performance and commercial effectiveness of launched products and coordinate ongoing updates and improvements.
· Research emerging technologies and recommend innovative products and digital solutions that can create new revenue streams and strengthen Orange PR’s service offering.
Skills and Experience Required
· Bachelor’s degree or higher qualification in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Electronic Commerce, or a related field.
· At least three years of relevant experience in ICT project management, product management, or digital systems delivery.
· Strong understanding of CRM systems, digital marketing platforms, data integration, and business process automation.
· Experience managing software development projects and coordinating external vendors.
· Knowledge of Agile, Scrum, or other structured project methodologies.
· Excellent analytical, communication, and organisational skills.
· Experience in marketing, e-commerce, digital media, or consumer brand industries is advantageous.
