About the Role CRV is a global leader in dairy herd improvement, driving a multi-year technology strategy to support farmers with innovative genetic solutions. We're looking for versatile developers to help deliver robust, scalable software that supports key business outcomes.

You'll work across the full development lifecycle, collaborating with stakeholders to build and maintain systems that integrate with New Zealand's dairy industry standards. From enhancing existing platforms to developing new applications, your work will directly impact farming operations locally and internationally.

Strategic Focus Areas  •   Integration with industry partners  •   Advanced data processing and management  •   Security, AI, and user experience design 

Key Responsibilities  •   Analyse business needs and deliver outcome-focused solutions  •   Design, build, and maintain secure, high-performance software  •   Share knowledge and mentor team members  •   Collaborate in Agile teams to shape product development  •   Develop REST APIs and manage databases for operational and analytical use  •   Write clean, well-documented code and conduct thorough testing  •   Stay current with emerging technologies and contribute to documentation  •   Review code and processes to ensure quality  •   Deploy changes using approved methods and keep stakeholders informed 

About You You'll bring:  •   A degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience  •   5+ years in software development  •   Experience with Agile, CI/CD, and AI-assisted development  •   Strong skills in PHP or .NET, front-end frameworks (ReactJS, HTML/CSS/JS), and SQL  •   Familiarity with Azure services and mobile app development  •   RESTful API development and Git-based version control  •   Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
