We are seeking an experienced and values-driven Marketing, Digital & Communications Manager to lead our marketing, digital and communications function at a critical time of organisational transformation and growth.
Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer and leading a small, capable team, this leadership role is responsible for strengthening our brand, enhancing digital performance, and driving measurable impact across community engagement, fundraising, and retail outcomes.

Mo te tunga | About the role
You’ll be responsible for shaping and delivering an integrated marketing, digital and communications strategy aligned to organisational priorities. This includes:
- Leading brand strategy, organisational narrative and reputation management
- Strengthening community understanding of hospice care and improving access
- Driving digital strategy across web, social, CRM, fundraising and e‑commerce
- Optimising customer and supporter journeys for engagement and conversion
- Delivering integrated, multi‑channel campaigns that support revenue growth
- Embedding data‑led decision making with clear performance metrics and reporting
- Leading media engagement and building organisational visibility and credibility
- Developing internal communications frameworks to support alignment and change
- Advising the Senior Leadership Team on positioning, messaging and risk
This is a full‑time position. You will work across all Harbour Hospice locations, with Hibiscus Hospice as your primary base.
