GP Coating Limited looking for a capable, independent, and proactive Marketing Specialist to initiate and implement marketing initiatives for our growing painting business. This role involves applying practical marketing knowledge to promote services, generate leads, and strengthen brand presence. The position requires a mix of independent work and collaboration with the operations team to ensure marketing efforts align with business goals. Candidate must have strong leadership skills as the marketing team will be expanding.

  • Manage social media accounts (e.g. Facebook, Instagram, Google) including content creation, scheduling, and engagement with customers.
  • Maintaining and improving the company website (SEO optimization, content updates).
  • Analysing data on consumer behaviour and preferences to identify strategies based on marketing trends.
  • Identify market opportunities and recommends the development, coordination, and execution of strategies for pricing and promoting the organisation’s products and services.
  • Generate and monitor leads via digital channels, referrals, and local advertising.
  • Create marketing materials such as digital ads, flyers, signage, and promotions
  • Meet with clients to discuss and coordinate pricing estimates.
  • Engage with major projects alongside local partners and contractors and prepare bid proposals.
  • Collaborate with suppliers for efficient product pricing.
  • Assist in customer engagement efforts by handling inquiries and encouraging reviews and testimonials.
  • Communicate with existing clients regarding proposed quotations.
  • Coordinate with the Operations Manager to ensure marketing activities aligned with ongoing projects and capacity.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Diploma or degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field 
  • At least 2 years of relevant marketing or administrative experience
  • Good interpersonal communication and content creation skills
  • Strong understanding of social media marketing and basic SEO principles
  • Basic graphic design skills (e.g., Canva, Adobe tools)
  • Ability to multitask and work independently
  • Keen to details and organization
  • Able to work 30-40 hours
