About the role | Mō te tūranga mahi

As Programme Manager, you'll be at the heart of setting up and keeping BRiDGE on track. From managing schedules and reporting, to engaging stakeholders across MBIE, NZTA and the wider sector, you'll ensure the programme runs smoothly and achieves its ambitions.

This is a Wellington-based role and you'll work closely with the Director and Deputy Director of BRiDGE from our modern central city office.

Main responsibilities will include:

  • Coordinating programme administration, meetings, and documentation
  • Tracking budgets, contracts, and financial processes
  • Monitoring project timeframes and deliverables
  • Supporting governance and reporting frameworks
  • Ensuring clear communication across teams and stakeholders
You'll work closely with the Director and Deputy Director - BRiDGE, and engage with key stakeholders including MBIE, NZTA, NHC, and technical experts across the sector.

Who we're looking for | Tā mātou e kimi nei

You'll be a natural organiser with strong communication skills and experience in programme or project coordination. Familiarity with budgets, reporting, and governance will help you succeed in this start-up-style environment.

You will bring:

  • A tertiary qualification in Engineering, Business, Finance or related field
  • Experience in programme or project coordination
  • A strong organisational and time management skills
  • Familiarity with budgeting, invoicing, and reporting
  • A collaborative and solutions-focused approach
