Role 1 Split Shifts (7am-9am and 3pm-5.45pm): Week 1- Mon, Wed, Fri, Week 2 - Tue, Thur, Sat, Sun

Role 2 Split Shifts (7am-9am and 3pm-5.45pm): Week 1 - Tue, Thur, Sat, Sun. Week 2 - Mon, Wed, Fri

Role 3 Active role incl. Sleepover (7pm-7am): Week 1 - Mon, Wed, Fri, Sat, Sun. Week 2 - Tue, Thursday

Role 4 Active role incl. Sleepover (7pm-7am): Week 1 Tue, Thur. Week 2 - Mon, Wed, Fri, Sat, Sun

Te mahi angitu - The opportunity

You will be supporting a client in their own home based in Swannanoa. You will be part of a small team responsible for all aspects of the clients personal cares including but not limited to Bowel, Bladder cares. Support staff will also be responsible for household management which will include housework and completing laundry. The client has a cat and a dog on the property, so staff will also need to be good with animals.

You will help empower this client to access their community, and achieve independence, inclusion, and quality of life after a spinal cord injury. Our client is seeking an exceptional team with the opportunity for a genuine and authentic connection to develop over time.

  • Have a full drivers licence
  • Willing to work within the mission, vision, and values of the organisation
  • Previous experience of support work and working with people with disabilities would be advantageous
