UX/ UI Designer

As our sole UX/UI Designer, youll play a pivotal role in shaping how our customers experience APLYiD. Youll sit at the intersection of design, product, and technology, leading customer research, creating modern, intuitive designs, and building prototypes that push the boundaries of whats possible with SaaS and AI.

Youll work independently, but never in isolation, collaborating closely with engineers, product managers, business stakeholders and customers to ensure every release is both beautiful and usable. Youll be able to work closely with the engineers to understand technical limitations around design and adapt them when necessary to make the build simpler to deliver. This is a role for someone who loves digging into customer needs, isnt afraid to test and learn fast, and wants to leave a clear design fingerprint on a product thats growing globally.

• Deliver high-quality UX and UI design across our product suite.

• Translate user needs and business goals into intuitive, engaging design solutions.

• Create and present journey maps, wireframes, prototypes, and polished interfaces (Figma is your playground).

• Lead user research, including interviews, usability testing, and data insights to inform design decisions.

• Develop and maintain our design system, ensuring consistency across every touchpoint.

• Collaborate with product, engineering, marketing, and leadership to bring ideas to life.

• Contribute to team ceremonies (shaping, planning, retros) with a design perspective.

• Stay ahead of trends, particularly in AI and SaaS, and bring fresh thinking to how we design and deliver at speed.

• 5+ years experience in UX/UI design for SaaS or digital products.

• Mastery of Figma (bonus points if youre curious about AI tools like Figma Make, Bolt, or Lovable to supercharge early-stage concepts).

• Strong experience in creating flows, sketches, wireframes, and prototypes that bring clarity to complexity.

• Hands-on experience running customer research and usability testing, with the ability to turn insights into actionable improvements.

• A deep understanding of user-centred design principles, accessibility, and information architecture.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, you can explain design choices in plain English, not design jargon.

• A love of technology and curiosity about AI, with an instinct to experiment and get prototypes into customers hands fast.

• Flexibility and the ability to take on feedback and adjust and adapt designs to align with business needs to technical limitations.
