Mō te tūranga | About the Role Reporting to the Financial Crime Compliance & Governance Manager, you will be part of a passionate team of professionals who contribute to Westpacs Financial Crime Compliance function. You will work collaboratively across Westpac to deliver framework and drive continuous improvement as well effective Financial Crime risk management and governance processes. In this role, youll play a key part in ensuring Westpacs Financial Crime Compliance programs, risk assessments, policies and standards comply with legal regulatory requirements and protect the integrity and reputation of Westpac globally while ensuring the best customer outcomes. A key focus of this role is to support the Financial Crime Compliance & Governance Manager in the delivery of governance and compliance processes across the Westpac Group, assisting in the preparation of internal governance reporting across all Financial Crime risk classes and updating compliance programme documentation.   • 3+ years experience in the banking and/or financial industry
  • Experience in AML/CFT or other related compliance areas
  • Knowledge of the financial sector and risk management processes
  • Proven stakeholder management skills
  • Demonstrable organisational abilities by effectively managing multiple projects, meeting deadlines, and setting priorities
  • CAMS or Risk based professional qualification preferred
