About the opportunity

As our Coolstore Manager, youll oversee all aspects of coolstore operations, ensuring seamless storage, inventory control, and quality management to support our post-harvest and packhouse operations. This role is central to maximising storage efficiency, maintaining compliance, and leading a high-performing team.

Key responsibilities include:

• Lead & Optimise Coolstore Operations - Manage capacity, utilisation, traffic flow, and staffing to ensure smooth, cost-effective operations
• Inventory & Stock Management - Ensure accurate traceability, reporting, and reconciliation of growers fruit stocks.
• Ensure Compliance & Quality - Maintain strict food safety, market access, and regulatory standards for all stored produce.
• Drive Continuous Improvement - Analyse performance metrics, identify inefficiencies, and implement best practices to enhance productivity.
• Health & Safety Leadership - Promote best-practice safety procedures, risk management, and compliance.

About you

• Experienced in Coolstore, Warehousing, or Logistics Management - 3+ years in cold storage, packhouse, or supply chain operations.
• Strong Leadership & People Management Skills - Ability to motivate, coach, and develop teams.
• Process-Driven & Detail-Oriented - Ensures accurate stock control, regulatory compliance, and operational efficiency.
• Analytical & Problem-Solving Mindset - Ability to review KPIs, identify trends, and optimise workflows.
• Understanding of Cool Chain & Inventory Systems - Experience with SAP, warehouse management systems, or inventory control tools.
