For over 125 years, T&G has nourished generations of Kiwis with fresh fruit and vegetables. We grow, pack, market, sell, distribute, import and export fresh produce from our own orchards and farms, as well as from over 1,200 Kiwi growers.

About the opportunity

Were looking for a Payroll Officer to join our small but mighty Payroll team who have the very important job of paying our 2000+ people on weekly and fortnightly payment runs. This is the first time we have recruited a Payroll position in over five years which speaks volumes for the team culture and leadership within our wonderful Payroll team.

Key responsibilities include:

• End-to-end management of a fortnightly salaried and weekly waged payroll
• Provide payroll advice to both people leaders and employees
• Support our Payroll Manager with various projects

About you

• Experience managing both salaried and waged payrolls of 500+ employees
• Up-to-date on the Holidays Act 2003 and all NZ payroll legislation / best-practice
• Continuous improvement mindset - youll bring fresh thinking and ideas to help us work smarter
• Customer-centric style - youre helpful, proactive, and across the details
• Experience with SAP HCM or DataPay would be an advantage, but not essential
