Looking for full-time Assistant Manager.

Carter Horticuture Limited looking for an Assistant Manager. This is full-time position and we are looking for somone who plan, organise, control, coordinate and perform farming operations in agricultural establishments.

Key Responsibilities

• Laising with Supervisors and guide them and provide them the schedule.
• Enthusiastic about customer service excellence and the contribution you can make to the business.
• A strong business-oriented focus.
• Planning and coordinating the operation of farm work and crop production.
• Monitoring and maintaining the health of Orchards.
• Identifying and controlling environmental toxins, weeds, pests and diseases.
• organising and conducting farming operations such as maintaining buildings, water supply systems and equipments
• Planning production to meet contract requirements and market demand.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Maintain and follow Health and Safety law at workplace and report any hazards in the farm.

Qualification:

• Bachelors degree required
• Ability to use MS office

This is a full time permanent position and successful applicant will be required to manage the business as well as its staff and liasie with third parties. Applicants for this position should have NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa

We are looking at providing at least 30 hours a week for this position and the minimum payrate we are looking at is $29.66 per hour and the maximum payrate is $35.00 per hour.
