- Middlemore Hospital: Permanent full or parttime time role as General Medicine SMO
- Remunerations per ASMS SECA $185,380-$267,980 + Allowances + CMEs
- Middlemore is the largest hospital operated by Te Whatu Ora - Health New Zealand. We offer secondary-level (hospital and specialist) care and a selected range of community and domiciliary services for the population of Counties Manukau - the area that stretches from Otahuhu to Port Waikato
- We also provide niche specialist tertiary services for regional and national consumers in orthopaedic and plastic surgery, burns, spinal injury rehabilitation, renal dialysis, and neonatal intensive care. All Counties Manukau Health facilities are smoke-free.
- Middlemore Hospital is the main hub for acute care and referral services within CM Health. It is an accredited, teaching hospital of Auckland University and caters for most medical and surgical specialties with a catchment area of around 600,000 people.

About the Role
The General Medicine experience at Middlemore is wide and varied providing an interesting and challenging clinical environment. It is the largest of the 15 Departments in the Division of Medicine and has close ties with all the Medical specialities. All subspecialties contribute to undergraduate and post-graduate teaching programmes

About you
As the ideal candidate:
- You should be either registered or be eligible for vocational registration within the scope of General Medicine with the Medical Council of New Zealand.
- Previous experience as Consultant Physician is desirable.
