The opportunity

Dunedin City Councils (DCC) City Growth Team has a Subdivision Support Officer position available, reporting to our Subdivision Engineer.

You will have the opportunity to use your solid organisational and administration skills to provide process support, ensuring the smooth running and coordination from the wider 3 Waters group to resource consent, building consent and new water connection processes. This is a customer-focused role that will allow you to be part of our hardworking and supportive team environment.

Our team strives to provide the best quality service possible to our customers. This is a role that sits in a fast-paced environment, tight deadlines and working at pace delivering quality outcomes.

To be successful in this role, you ideally have the following skills:

• Excellent written and oral communication.
• Relevant diploma in engineering, science, or policy
• Experience working in resource planning and/or building act processes
• A clear and logical thinker with an ability to apply policy in unfamiliar situations
• Highly collaborative working style with ability to build constructive, effective relationships

It is an exciting time to join like-minded and experienced Engineers and Project Managers as we ramp up our resources to deliver key 3 Waters Infrastructure projects throughout the Dunedin City Region to meet the needs of our community.

Salary range: $61,722 - $72,614
