Te Whiwhinga mahi | The opportunity

The role oversees AUTs international agent representative network, a vital recruitment channel of international students to AUT. The role manages the agent database and processes around the selection, management, and review of agent contracts and performance.

The role provides customer service support and acts as a central liaison point for AUT agents and partners and contributes to a partner communication plan, conducting regular training on AUTs agent compliance requirements and commission reconciliation. The role also assists the Director International Relations and Recruitment in formulating and implementing the agent engagement plan including continuously improving our systems and processes to improve the customer experience of our agent partners.

An ideal candidate for the Agent Planning Coordinator will:

  • Have at least three years experience in financial systems management with an emphasis on financial database management
  • Have at least three years experience in operational relationship management for a medium-to-large organisation, particularly as it pertains to IT and finance functions
  • Experience in contract management

In addition to this experience, the ideal candidate will also express the following:

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills with an emphasis on working in public settings with a variety of onshore and offshore stakeholders
  • High level IT literacy with an emphasis on Microsoft software, digital communication, and general database management
  • Well-developed interpersonal, analytical, and advisory skills, particularly in cross-cultural spaces
  • Excellent organisational skills, including the ability to organise events if required
  • Ability to work strategically, creatively, and flexibly under conditions of resource constraint and an ability to manage uncertainty associated with the dynamic environment
