Merchant 1948 is a New Zealand Family owned and operated footwear retailer who has been around since, you guessed it, 1948. We are a household name and a trusted source of premium leather footwear for all occasions.

The role

Based in our Frankton Queenstownstore and reporting to the Store Manager you will be responsible for:

• Creating great customer experiences

• Working towards and achieving individual sales targets

• Ensuring the store is tidy and presentable

• Maintaining visual merchandising standards in store

• Working as part of a team and contributing to a positive team culture

• Holding a key to the store with the added responsibility of opening and/or closing and running shifts when required.

About you

• A great attitude; positive, confident and a growth mindset

• An eye for detail, you notice when things need your attention

• You must be available to work either 23 hours per week, or on a split shift. This will be either:
  • Friday (11:00am - 6:00pm) & Saturday (10:00am - 4:00pm),
• OR
  • Sunday (11:00am - 4:30pm) & Monday (10:00am - 4:30pm)
