Are you ready to make a meaningful impact with your financial expertise? At NZ Police our ICT group plays a vital role in supporting front-line policing by delivering innovative, reliable and secure digital technology and communications solutions.

As a key member of the Investment Performance team within Police ICT, you will play a crucial role in enabling data-driven decision-making and supporting strategic outcomes. This role is ideal for someone with strong analytical capability, financial acumen and a continuous improvement mindset. This is a dynamic role where your insights will directly contribute to the effectiveness of Police ICT.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Deliver high quality data analysis and performance reporting that provides clear insights and enables ICT leaders and product teams to make informed decisions
  • Apply expert financial and commercial analysis to track and report on spend, budget variances and product costing providing valuable advice and recommendations
  • Develop and maintain tools such as dashboards and metric-driven reports that monitor vendor performance, products costs and service delivery effectiveness
  • Provide professional and technical guidance across the ICT group, supporting business planning and fostering a culture of shared accountability
  • Drive continuous improvement by regularly reviewing and refining processes, identifying opportunities to streamline operations and ensuring systems like ServiceNow and Sentient meet evolving needs

Utu a-tau | Salary

This position is covered by a collective agreement and salary will commence between $102,808 and $108,894 dependent on skills and experience relevant to the role.
