The Director - People Strategy is a member of the People Group Leadership Team [PGLT] and reports our new Chief People Officer Leigh MacDonald.
As Director People Strategy you will have a passion for supporting organisations to build and develop the human capability it needs to achieve its long-term business objectives and strategy. This key leadership role requires a blend of strategic thinking, strong business acumen, proven track record of complex change delivery, and an ability to collaborative across all levels of the organisation.
The purpose of the Director - People Strategy is to ensure Police takes a strategic view and forward planning approach in the provision of people related services and solutions to enable people, leadership, and culture to succeed. You will work closely with Senior leadership to drive change.
You will be a credible individual who is highly capable and have extensive experience within human resources, organisational development, employment, and industrial relations. Someone who will have previously held a senior or executive level role within a large complex organisation who is people-centric and resilient.

Key Accountabilities:
- Develop and lead our People strategy which delivers on our business.
- Partner with senior leadership to provide actionable insights and solutions to meet the business needs.
- Lead and deliver organisational people project and change across the business.
- Ensure the team has the effective strategies, systems, processes, and tools available to achieve service levels and performance targets.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders through meaningful collaboration and advisory.

Utu a-tau | Salary
This position is covered by a collective agreement and salary will commence between $203,400 - $210,180 dependent on skills and experience relevant to the role.
